Register to Vote
- Must be a citizen of the United States
- Must be 18 by Election Day
- A Michigan resident of your city/township for at least 30 days
- Not currently serving a jail or prison sentence
- Same-day voting registration is allowed at your city/town clerk's office.
- Registering to vote by any other means must be received or postmarked by October 19, 2020
Mail-In Voting Information
- A voter must request a mail-in ballot, one will not automatically be sent.
- A registered voter may request a mail-in ballot; no reason is required.
- The last day to request a mail-in ballot is Friday, October 30th, 2020 at 5pm
Early Voting Information
- Thursday, September 24, 2020 is the beginning of early voting in Michigan. Check City/Town websites for early voting locations and times.
